Which packages we can carry, how to prepare them and what happens when a package cannot be delivered.

Before you book

These terms explain how the service operates and what to expect. Read the applicable policies before submitting a delivery request.

Generally accepted items

Subject to size, weight, route and safety review, we may carry ordinary documents, keys, books, small office supplies, packaged nonhazardous retail items, print materials and similar everyday goods. Acceptance is not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed.

Prohibited and restricted items

Do not book alcohol; tobacco or vaping products; cannabis or controlled substances; prescription medications; firearms, ammunition, explosives or fireworks; cash, negotiable financial instruments or high-value jewelry; dangerous chemicals, gasoline, compressed gases or flammable liquids; medical specimens, human tissue or medical waste; live animals; illegal or stolen goods; or products requiring temperature-controlled handling unless we explicitly introduce an approved specialized service. Other products may be restricted by applicable laws, courier insurance or carrier policies.

Weight and package preparation

The initial maximum weight is 40 pounds per package unless a lower limit is shown during booking or management explicitly approves another limit. Package dimensions must be compatible with the assigned vehicle. Use sturdy sealed containers; protect fragile items; label the shipment; and do not leave exposed sharp objects, leaking liquids or unstable loads.

Address, pickup and identity

Provide complete street addresses, unit numbers, entry instructions, recipient name and reachable contact details. The pickup and delivery points must be within the currently enabled service territory. The courier may verify the item against the request, photograph its exterior or ask for additional instructions.

Delivery confirmation

Handoffs may require a recipient name, electronic signature or one-time PIN. Photographic evidence may supplement—but does not always replace—identity or handoff requirements. Do not share a recipient PIN publicly or place it on the package label.

Failed delivery and return

If a sender is unavailable, a recipient refuses a shipment or an address is invalid, the order may be placed in an exception state. CourierPlot will attempt to determine a lawful next step, such as a retry or return to sender. Additional authorized charges may apply to extra transportation, waiting or redelivery. Collected packages remain in documented custody until properly handed off or returned.

Inspection and refusal

CourierPlot may refuse a package that appears unsafe, unlawful, inadequately packaged, materially misdescribed or inconsistent with our terms. We do not routinely open sealed items; applicable law and safety obligations may require further action in specific cases.

Service level limitations

Scheduled same-day, standard and express requests are capacity-dependent. An estimate is not a guaranteed pickup or delivery commitment. Requests may be declined when an existing assignment prevents reliable service.
